Life since I left Hardeeville in a nutshell

April 2004 Joined the US army as a 35M/94M radar repairer.

July 2004 Finished basic training at Fort Sill OK

October 2004 Finished phase one of AIT at Redstone Arsenal AL

July 2005 Finished phase two of AIT at Fort Sill Ok, top of my class

August 2005, Reached my first duty station, Fort hood TX and was assigned to 4th ID 2nd Div 4-42 HHB as a radar mechanic

September 2005, Went to NTC *national training center* at Fort Irwin CA and played army man in the Mohabi desert for 8 weeks, very fun stuff there.

December 2005, Met my future wife and got deployed to Iraq

December 2005, Landed in Kuwait, trained up for a month than rolled into Iraq on New year’s day, I was stationed on the FOB Taji.

February 2006, Went on midtour leave for 2 weeks and visited some old friends in GA

February 2006, Back in Iraq still in Taji, same crap, different day

December 2006, I get redeployed home, Yay!

May 2007, I get out of the army and start live as a civilian,Yay. Moved in with my girlfriend Lisa Arevalo.

July 2007, Start College at Devry Uni for software programming,

September 2007, was offered a good job by URS LSI/EGG to work on the pilot program for the Giraffe AMB

September 2007, Withdrew out of college and went to training in Laguna NM for the SAAB made radar.

October 2007, Back in Iraq.

July 2008, 2 weeks off to visit Lisa and just to get some sound sleep.

July 2008, Back in Iraq.

March 2009, 2 weeks’ vacation to visit home, Asked Lisa to marry me.

March 2009, Back in Iraq.

September 2009, 3 weeks’ vacation, spent 1 week in Vegas where Lisa and myself got married at the Artesian Wedding Chapel. While in Vegas we stayed at the Venetian and I highly recommend that hotel.

October 2009, Back in Iraq

November 2009, went to Gothenburg in Sweden for trainning at SAAB for 3 weeks, nice country but made me miss America more.
