School Sex Scandal

This is the first of this I have heard about lately,but it is not uncommon for things to go on in schools that are covered up all the time.I havent been in school for a long time.I have grands that are in High School now .But if I were the parent that you are talking about dont forget we the people are the ones who vote our school board in and in return they are the one with the power over the Pricipal and Super of the schools then in turn call JCSO or sled .We elect these people they owe some one some answers.Maybe a special meeting with the school board should be set up.The only thing is you need to make sure everything is true .These officials are to protect our children no matter how matter how mature they think they are they are still children.Good Luck.

Jasper County Schools

In response to Shadow's comment about the school district covering things up, Jasper County School District wins the prize. Never mind the question of whether or not teachers are behaving inappropriately with students, how about administrators and principals doing everything possible to prevent our students from receiving the best education possible. We have principals treating school money like it is their own personal bank account. We have prinicipals that do anything possible to dissuade parents from interacting in the schools. We have administrators and principals who have so much hate for one another, and think nothing of stabbing one another in the back to teachers and staff. So a sex scandal in JCSD...oh my, that is just a drop in the bucket compared to the day to day, irresponsible, and unprofessional deeds of principals and other administrators.

Jasper County Schools

I agree with hhigirl this is going on in these schools. So that leads no one to pay attention to how the SOME teachers are disrepecting the students not only physically but verbal should be look at also. You need to give respect in order to get respect. Even if you are a teacher or carry any other title. If a students complain they (administrators)take sides with the teacher. Are not the students our future. If you say you heard of no complaint could it be the child is afraid of not being taking serious,and they have to face that teacher again. The whole system needs to be look at with a fine scope and stop passing the buck which they are good at. We as parents should be able to go to the schools at anytime not only when something has happen. Parents should talk to they child ask about what goes on in the classroom

What the students of our

What the students of our county need is for parents to be involved, on a daily basis, whether it be as Angelonhand states: talking to their child, or getting in those schools and seeing the reality. The majority of teachers in the district are focused and desire to meet the needs of the children. However, they are getting tired of the day to day ignorance from the principals and administration as to what is needed, both emotionally and materialistically, to teach with passion and fire. JCSD was given an opportunity three years ago, with an overhaul of administration, to prove that they can compete against other school districts across the state and the nation. Isn't it time that we look at those that were brought in and see that most have failed in their roles and have lowered the standards of the district even more?
