RIDGELAND - The Beaufort/Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force (DTF) arrested a Ridgeland man June 22, charging him with selling crack cocaine and other drugs from his Mitchellville Road home.

Joseph Lamar Medlock, 26, was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, simple possession of marijuana, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

During the month of June, the DTF investigated Medlock and found that he was selling illegal drugs from 1056 Mitchellville Road in Ridgeland.

At about 5:30 a.m. DTF members, accompanied by members of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant. Officers seized about 7 grams of cocaine,
more than 1 gram of crack cocaine, about 6 grams of marijuana, $1,125 in cash and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
