Is it me, or is there only the 15th version on? Has the Hardeevilletoday online become a thing of the past ??

I guess we have all let the blog die,and that is not right.I did not even realize there was a house shot up in Car Moore Acers.I hope they are investigating this.This how alot of innocent people get killed.I also caught our town meeting on tv where people were asking about why there is no dispatcher at the Hardeeville Police station. Does anyone have an answer?

To read more about the shooting on Thomas Street, please check out the April 25 and May 3 issues of Hardeeville Today. (I'm trying to figure out why the May 23 issue hasn't been posted yet. I'm working on it.)

As far as I know, there haven’t been any arrests in that particular shooting and those involved have all but disappeared.

In order for Hardeeville to get a dispatcher (as opposed to having 911 calls routed through the county call center and dispatched to the proper agency) it would take a lot of time, money and effort. I think the funding issue might be the biggest issue, particularly in this economic climate.

For example, Hardeeville will see a new and improved fire department in the near future. That will be paid for through bonds issued by the city. And no tax increase is needed for that.

Thanks Erin you know for a small place we sure have got alot going on .I guess it is still hard for me to believe the growing pains this town is having,as long as they are good ones.Thanks
